I wish to register my opposition the the attached planning submission.

As a town councillor I have been approached by a number of residents who also share the same concerns as me over the development.

I have been copied in on several emails from a fellow resident Mr Dai Richards regarding allegations and whiteness statements of hazardous items being used to fill the site under the previous ownership of Cuddy Group.

As a councillor and representative of residents within this area, please can I request that prior to any decisions regarding the planning being made, residents have a meeting with the planning department outlining our concerns.

Many of the residents that will be directly effected by development to this land are elderly and do not have access to the online portal.

Mr Richards has provided lists of residents in opposition to the development via email on their behalf but due to the restriction of
movement based upon us during this Pandemic, it is not safe or feasible to visit all residents potentially putting them at risk.

The planning process isn’t ever a quick process and I feel that this seems
to be being nudged along taking advantage of the limited access / contact
people have to access the portal making their objections known.
