I've been posting information on the Enzo Development and researching the history of the development so that I fully understand it. Everything about it gives off a bad smell. My opinion is that it is highly likely that is is a serious amount of toxic waste buried in the site and the reason it is being fast tracked through is because they want to build over the evidence. There are several eyewitness reports of the Cuddy Group acting suspiciously including my own and one of sealed barrels full of waste on the site that mysteriuously dispappeared one morning, probably down a hole. I have just finished a walk around the site where it seems to leaking chemicals into the stream in several places. I have also had an exchange of emails with Cllr Simon Knoyle in which he said about the planning department as he did in his broadcast last weekend "it is for them to follow the correct process in a timely manner to determine the application or not" .

My advice to Simon in an email was to get off the fence because I'm going to throw stones at him until he falls on one side or the other. It is the planning process that allowed the Cuddy Group to (possibly) dump toxic waste on our doorsteps and it is the Glynneath Town Council who have been negligent in looking the other way and not checking out the information contained in the planning process. The planning for the site is full of deception, contradiction, inaccuracies, and disturbing information therefore the Glynneath Town Council were not undertaking due diligence in their duty of care to the people of Glynneath. This is the first public stone for Simon and the message is if you do not get off the fence and support the people who live near the Enzo site then you are as useless as your predecessors. In the interest of fairness, accountability and openess of opinions etc, I invite Simon Knoyle and also Cllr Del Morgan who supports the development to comment on this post and give his opinion of this statement, to enter into a public debate about how the Glynneath Town Council have been negligent (or not) to the people of Glynneath, in particular those bordering the Cuddy / Enzo site. I could just throw stones and call people useless but that's not my style. I should ask both councillors a question and allow them the opportunity to respond and ask me questions as well if they have the balls to. When the land found to be was contaminated in 2008 (see illustration).

SK to DR - Dai, as per the many e-mails between us over the last few weeks, I confirmed to you today that I have asked the Planning officers for all of the information so that I can assess prior to commenting further.

DR to SK - Simon Knoyle - Thank you for your reply. I do appreciate the efforts you have taken with my emails over the last couple of weeks and if it looks like I'm attacking you, to everyone out there I'm not, please don't think that I am, I think you (Simon Knoyle) are a good man. What I'm concerned about is the process that allowed this to happen and historically as stated in my post Glynneath Town Council have been negligent and you personally are barking up the wrong tree when you are asking for information about this application., Everything you need to know about this application is on-line and open for the public to view. If the planning department allow this one to go through then they are absolute idiots and you know that as well. If we keep this line of conmmunication open then everyone can see what a great job you are doing. Now you should answer the question I asked you.

I'll put Del's to him by email in his role as a Town Councillor to see if he will give me answer, perhaps you could ask him that too because it is well before your time and its more likely he'll answer to you than me.

DR general comment - I just want to share this because I wrote it in a private message but it is to do with the planning and someone asked me the question if I should be pointing the finger at the Glynneath Town Council. My reply was.......
Glynneath Town Council don't have anything to do with planning but then again neither do I and I've read those plans from cover to cover to learn whats going on becuae they affect me personally - my point is that if someone wants to build 80 houses on a piece of land that is your patch and you are a councillor you should undertake due diligence and check it out because may negatively affect the people you are representin. The land for the last 90 years has always been a tip and the other part has always been a bog you need to ask are these suitable locations and then you should read the plans to see how this affects the people you represent. If there is conflicting information and information that doesn't match the historical profile of the land then you should then point this out to the planners or relevant authorities and ask questions until you are satisfied with the answers you get. - Dai
