So the previous post and snippets of a letter dated 26th May 2020 indicate the position of why no works were carried out on the land until late last year.
Undertaking further due diligence, I was provided with a copy of the WAC (Waste Acceptance Criteria) Tests which were carried out on 7th October 2020 - I received this confidentially, hence the reason I have redacted the image below.
You will see that there are many contaminants identified in the samples, this is just a snippet of Sample 04 taken on 20th October 2020.
I have spoken to specialists about these WAC results and they have confirmed to me that the waste has been classified as “Inert”.
This does not close out the issue and as I have stated previously, both Ward Members and GTC have requested that further and deeper testing take place, this is included as a Condition of Planning, it is suggested that illegal tipping took place on the site and we still need to carry out tests to see if this is correct or not.
