		Dear Councillor Hunt, I refer to your rquest in last night's 'Let's Talk' meeting to provide you, the chief executive (please check email address is correct) and the head of planning with information about the failure of the NPT planning website to show information in relation to planning objections. I attach two screenshots of the following planning application which for almost 3 years have failed to display this information. 		Morning Steve, Just to advise, the team currently do not routinely upload third party representations to the website, primarily due to concerns around GDPR – that is to say that once uploaded any personal data or comments about applicants etc. become our responsibility and we are then open to breaching GDPR rules. At this point in time, anyone can request to view representations and we can make these available by omitting the personal information or redacting copies on a request by request basis. Further discussions are however needed in respect of how we overcome the challenges around GDPR with what is made available on our website. Ceri.

"Equally concerning would be an LPA who refused to publish anything citing “data protection issues” I would suggest that you are an LPA who refuse to publish information citing "data protection issues", If you have never heard of this document, can I refer both you and your Head of Planning to the following website. www.google.com This an internet tool commonly known as a search engine. If you place a series of words into the box such as GDPR rules planning objections uk it will bring up a list of websites that may contain the information you are searching for. If you ignore the top websites which have Ad next to them. Ad is short for Advertisement and lok at the first non 'Ad' website, you will see that it is a website called www.local.gov.uk .gov.uk means it is a government website and the local denotes that it pertains to local government. The terms Planning and GDPR - Local Government Association in relation to the search engine results would suggest that the website will contain the information that the head of planning seeks. This is a documnet that identifies the rules and regulations in respect to GDPR and the planning process. If you point your Head of Planning to the following quote taken from this document on page 16 "Equally concerning would be an LPA who refused to publish anything citing “data protection issues”. As the Council Leader, I would expect you to take note of the following quote and the word concerning. "Equally concerning would be an LPA who refused to publish anything citing “data protection issues”. and I would expect you to ensure that the required information is uploaded to the relevant planning pages in line with the requirements of the document Planning and GDPR.
