initial approach

FB PM received

Hi Dai,
Hope you don't mind me contacting you but I came over your Facebook page whilst searching corruption within NPT council.
I was impressed by the site and efforts you have made in dealing with the life affecting issues in Glyneath and the gorrupt planning approval given by NPT.
The reason I am contacting you is to seek your advice on my complaint against NPT council regarding my attempts to seek council workshops yo set up a business and the bullying and discriminatory actions I am battling with from the higher levels of this council and the lack of support I have received from my local Councillor in Bryncoch, Jo Hale and the Head Councillor Stephen Hunt.
I will now be reporting the council to the Local Government Ombudsman but in the meantime I wish to take legal action against them as they are deliberately ignoring my requests snd correspondence.
It has been a very stressful and frustrating time and would be grateful to speak to you.
I appreciate you have enough on your plate but you and your group appear to be facing similar behaviour from officers of this council, who are well paid to provide us a service.
Would be grateful for your advice as I feel so strongly about the issue that I intend taking legal advice.
Many thanks - Kevin Walters

FB PM reply

Hi Kevin - thanks for the email, I welcome any approach that highlights the problems people have with the council in our community of NPT. As you rightly say, they are there to provide a service of care to the community and in my opinion there are falling short on this in a big way. For me to understand your problem better I think a face to face meet would be best to look over the information you have in relation to your problem. If you are agreeable, I'll be travelling through Neath today and tomorrow and could meet you for a chat. - Dai

Dai, that would be great and greatly appreciate you getting back to me.
I have to be at neath hospital as I am having a heart monitor fitted.
Not trying to dramatise my situation but it has had an effect on my health and livelihood and just carrying out some tests.
My mobile number is 07921100709.
Many thanks Kevin

Hi Kevin - do you want to meet up tomorrow at say 11.30 - I'm happy to come to your place as I will be in the area anyway. - Dai

His wife is a JP and is doing a PhD in children's play which is almost completed. Having problems with Andrew Collins at Sandfields Business Centre, has been in contact with SKH and mentioned David Phillips. Formerly worked at Ford's took a redundancy option to go into business.

ACTION

Stage 1

Negotiation with SKH & KJO with potential referral to Andrew Collins

positives = has money to invest, and is a potential employer but needs a base to work from. Has a good turnover of clothing and footwear and needs a dry secure unit to work from.

negatives = Having problems with communication NPTC

was told he was at the top of the list for SBC and then learned that someone else had been offered HIS place. Has looked at other locations in the borough but is receiving variable information on the process for renting a unit etc.

Mr Walters has approached our company with a view to negotiating a fresh start between the parties that will satisfy both parties, will provide a pathway for KWA that will bring potential prosperity and jobs to the county borough
