HEOL Y GLYN DEVELOPMENT, GLYNNEATH

A freedom of information request received from the Glynneath Town Council Clerk. Mx Ceri Wilcox relating to an email exchange between the Glynneath Town Councillors, Jennifer Herbert, Marie Powell and Mike Pugh with the rest of the Glynneath Town Council (apart from Roger Simons) copied to the series. The subject matter is Mr David Richards.

Two day after the last email we have a record of Mike Pugh resigned from his role as a councillor at the Glynneath Town Council.

The information contained with in the email chain in this document shows that the chain ended early with at least 3 emails missing see below.

It is important to establish the end of the email chain, there are clearly lines of decency being crossed and the comments withheld as can be seen from the screenshots are clearly libellous. These comments are not only aimed at myself but also other Glynneath residents and clubs who I would suggest, like myself can be considered to be respected members of the community..

What concerns me is that Councillor Herbert has the best interests of the council at heart and has offered to work with the rest of the council to resolve an issue that will have a detrimental effect to the council.

within 4 lines Councillor Pugh has defamed me and turned the communication into a one sided slanging match.

He also has a go at the Sedgemore's and Rey Jones stating that

"they have been hounding and trying to harm the council for many years."

I want to establish if the chair of the council stepped in or he just watched the character assassination.

there was a panel at the time who had taken on the role of the clerk.
