DAI'S WALK-AROUND-NEW-SOUTH-WALES BLOG - NOVEMBER 2003

Jonny Wilkinson, you've gotta have respect for the man, in my considered opinion, he's the greatest rugby player that ever lived. I've watch thousands of hours of rugby and to my eternal shame I supported England once in my life. The date was 22 November 2003 and I knew that if England won the Rugby World cup there would be a financial bonanza. However financial meant less holiday hours and even more shamefully I spent 18 hours working most days. This was especially painful as I'd taken my daughter Laurie to Oz as an 18th birthday present. Its a little embarrassing to say this but I neglected Laurie in favour of cashing in on England's success at the Rugby World Cup. I do hope to be able to make it up to Laurie and take her and her family somewhere nice in the future.
