20210321A-WBFB-CTAX FB post non payment of council tax

Jennifer Herbert posted and I replied with a video and some advice about not paying council tax. I gave her an opportunity to opt out of the corruption coalition.

FB post - council tax non payment

If you are not happy about the council tax don't pay it. If you live on the east side of Glynneath then potentially you've been paying for the Neath Port Talbot Council to murder you and your family through the contaminated waste dumped by Cuddy and hidden by the council planning department in 2008. I'm not paying my council tax on the principle that I'd be incredibly stupid if I'm actually paying to die. The money I pay in council tax goes on the wages of the people who are placing me and my family at risk and that includes the Glynneath County Councillors Del Morgan and Simon Knoyle. I haven't paid my council tax since last July and the council have stopped chasing me for it. I did have a bill this week for next years council tax and we'll see if they start chasing me based on that but my direct debits were cancelled last April so there's no way they can take the money from me and I'll refuse again to pay it if they ask. Refusing to pay your council tax is an interesting process and if anyone is interested, I'll tell you more. Meanwhile if anyone sees Del Morgan can you ask him this question please

The problem with not paying your council tax is that by doing so you are breaking UK Government law. After I cancelled my direct debits I received letters evrey month with a council tax demand. During this period I wrote to the chief financial officer of NPT and I provided him with with evidence of council corruption, I told him that as he was aware of this corruption I would hold him accountable when this was proved if he chased me for the tax. On the 4th month I received a court summons and an additional payment to cover court costs of £44.00 and the bill covered an additional two months, it also offered the options of easy pay plans etc and to contact the authority to sort things out. This was last July. I wasn't ready to fight the British law courts so I paid everything off in one go and haven't heard from them since apart from the next years bill received this week. So initially I got my dates wrong and technically I haven't paid my council tax since last September. To refuse to pay council tax and achieve our goals successfully I would say we need a group of at least 10 properties who all refuse to pay council tax on the same grounds. This video provides evidence of council corruption and the continued endangerment of the lives of Glynneath residents. I think this is a good enough reason not pay council tax. If we can get a group together then hopefully publicity will follow which will make the council sit up and take notice.
