I had a couple of comments and then Concerned Grandmother joined in and asked a couple of nice questions. He was avoiding his responsibility to act as a councillor to provide information to Concerned Grandmother, he then pointed her to Ceri Morris. GLYNNEATH CONTAMINATION MURDERS
This event is part of an ongoing cover-up of domestic and industrial contamination at the Heol-y-Glyn landfill site in Glynneath. Neath-Port Talbot Council can be shown to remove the necessary human health safety requirements through a series of planning approvals between 2008 and 2010. This can be see through the manipulation of information available on their planning portal. In March 2020 evidence of potential hexavalent chromium contamination was supplied to the local Councillor by a chemistry graduate with a request to identify the level of hexavalent chromium. The local councillors Simon Knoyle and Del Morgan failed to chase up the relevant information subsequently blocking all forms of communication with the local residents group. This event was almost a tear later and both councillors in September 2020 supported a planning approval despite warnings by the community of had illegal tipping on the site. The pollution officer at the planning meeting identified that the testing up until then had been shallow and insufficient and that testing should take place at all levels down to the natural ground level. Six weeks later both councillors were meeting with planning officials and the developer Enzo Homes to remove the safety conditions for contamination testing on a spoil heap that had had already been tested and found to have contamination above the safety guidelines. |

We believe the stimulus
for this post was almost certainly the post the day before about the Erin
Brokovich anniversary by Dai Richards of the local residents
group on the local private facebook group Glynneath News and
Views which mentioned that the Glynneath Town
Councillors Simon Knoyle & Del Morgan had been asked to find
out which Chromium it was and were still waiting for the
answer.
"A local chemist identified that if the levels found in the report were Chromium 6 then this would potentially be harmful to the residents of Glynneath, so we asked Del Morgan and Simon Knoyle to find out from NPT Council what type of Chromium it was. We are still waiting for the answer." |
