Last night, I was claimed to be, “the most disgusting piece of shit I have ever come across” by David Richards.
Until now, I have tried to respond to posts regarding the proposed residential development at Heol y Glyn, Glynneath with facts and evidence.
Due to this online abuse and bullying, I will no longer be posting on here directly about this issue, I hope that you will all understand my reasoning for this.

The one thing that everyone can agree on is that your personal attack on Simon, about a public issue, was totally unnecessary and very rude. It requires an immediate and sincere apology, especially if you wish to be taken seriously and treated with respect.

The comments made during this long and vindictive tirade against you Simon Knoyle, are apparently made by Mr Richards on behalf of the group which he claims to represent.
It would be interesting to know whether the other members of the group are aware of the abuse directed at you, and are supportive of them?
I have seen some suggestions of names of members of the group, and would be very surprised if they were.
Maybe if anyone reading this latest diatribe has contact with other members, they could bring these comments to their attention.
I must appeal to the admins of this site, not to allow such personal attacks on Individuals. If this continues, I am sure that many people of a rational mind will cease to engage with this page altogether

Sadly this individual isn’t able to present his views rationally and has fixated on two of our councillors. His posts are socially unacceptable and occasionally slanderous. I am at a loss as to how to deal with him and so I do not engage with him at all. Perhaps we will just have to learn to ignore his posts as time goes on as there doesn’t seem to be any way of preventing him from speaking. He has the right to post and I have the right to take his output as a positive reason not to have anything to do with him. We all know Simon and Del have worked tirelessly for our community over many years. There’s no reason to let this persons posts detract from their real achievements.

I didn’t even know about this contaminated land till my family had already moved in.
They had 2 floods in one week . The first week they Moved in due to a hay stack down the drains. Thinking now. What the hell was in that water!
All I wanted to know was whether it is safe for my family to live there. Previous test results etc.
I’d seek advice
And if it’s not safe then I’d move them.
Just answers to my questions I wanted. That’s it.
