The first report was made on 17 April 2021 as the Unlawful killing of two residents living next to the Heol-y-Glyn landfill site and then upgraded as murders at a later date. Our estimation is that between 50-200 residents in Glynneath have died as a result of the movement of and illegal tipping of waste. The cause of the deaths are happening because Neath-Port Talbot Council refuse to identify the land as a landfill site. This link is to the series of reports we have made in relation to these deaths.
